Beginning January 1, 2018, OHIP+ (“OHIP-Plus”) will provide access and coverage to over 4, 400 drugs reimbursed under the Ontario Drug Benefit Program, including medications funded through the Exceptional Access Program (EAP), to individuals age 24 and under, at no cost. This coverage will be in addition to the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Special Drug Program that already offers certain CF medications to Ontarians with cystic fibrosis at no cost.
