How to use IVR and Automated Telephone Refill Service

Tips for picking up medications:

If you need refills of your chronic medications before your next clinic visit, please contact the Prescription Care Centre (PCC) directly (not the CF office) to order your medication for pick up. Please give the PCC staff 1-2 weeks to have your order signed and prepared for you. More than 2 weeks notice may be required for medication quantities greater than 3 months supply.

Clinic pick-up - NEW

Your medications can be delivered to the CF clinic for you to pick up during your clinic visit.
When contacting PCC to refill prescriptions 1-2 weeks before your clinic visit, let them know that you will be picking up your medication in clinic.
We recommend that patients use the clinic pick-up process as it will help reduce the risk of infection, and it helps the clinic coordinate your care better.

Home delivery - NEW

Medications can be delivered by Canada Post COD or Purolator . Delivery times depend on method and delivery address and can range from next day (GTA) to 7-10 business days.
NEW - There will be no delivery fee for CF patients.

This includes patients transitioning from the Hospital for Sick Children who are coming to a clinic at St. Michael's Hospital for the first time.

Please call the CF office directly at 416-864-5409 if you wish to have medication ordered at your local pharmacy. We will arrange for the CF nurse to call in your order. Again, please give the office a few days to call your order into your local pharmacy as the CF nurses are very busy but they will try to accommodate your request in a timely manner.
